What are the box office hours?

The East Sonora Box Office is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm. On show days the office will be open from 10 am until curtain time.
The Historic Fallon House box office hours vary according to the season. Please call for current hours.

What happens if we’re late?

The house manager will seat you at the appropriate time during the show. If taking your assigned seats cause a disruption to the show, the actors or the audience, you will be seated in available open seats. You will be able to take your assigned seats after intermission.

I’d like to take a few pictures for the folks at home, is that ok?

Photographs, video or audio recording is not permitted inside the theatre due to copyright restrictions and actor/director/choreographer labor union rules. You can take pictures outside the theatre, in our lobby or at the stage door after the performance.

Can we eat or drink inside the theatre?

You can only take bottled water into the theatre; no other food or drinks are permitted.

What should I wear to the show?

There is no dress code, please wear comfortable clothing.

How long do the shows last?

Performance times vary; shows can run between 1 ½ and three hours. Please call for the performance time for the show.

I have special needs – can you accommodate me?

Both of the theatres have limited wheelchair seating, please call well in advance of when you want to see the show to make sure that we can accommodate you. The theatres have ramps and are easily accessible for those that require assistance. If you are able to transfer out of your wheelchair, we will have many more seating options available. The East Sonora theater has an assisted listening system that is available free of charge.

Can you recommend a place to spend the night?

Many of our advertising partners provide overnight accommodations, please call or email the box office for a recommendation.

Is there a place near the theatres to eat?

There are numerous restaurants in Columbia within walking distance to the theatre, please call or email us for our recommendations.

The East Sonora theatre is near a large shopping center with many options for dining, call the box office for recommendations.

Do you give discounts to groups?

We have discounts available for groups as small as 20 people. Please see our Groups page, or email us at groups@sierrarep.org

Do you honor Entertainment Book coupons?

We do, there are coupons in numerous Entertainment Books that we honor on Thursday and Friday evenings.

Are there any performances where you offer special discounts?

Yes, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 30 minutes before show time, we have half price tickets for any unsold seats. Cash is the only payment that is accepted for these discounted tickets, seating may be limited – tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

Can I bring my children?

SRT believes it is important for children to be exposed to live theatre and encourages families to bring their children to the appropriate shows. Please make sure your young children are ready for a live performance which will require sitting still and paying attention for over an hour.  At our East Sonora Theatre we restrict our performances to children over six. There is no restriction at the Historic Fallon Theatre, but we ask that when you bring children younger than six that you request aisle seats so that you can step out of the theatre if there is a problem.

Where should I park?

The East Sonora Theatre complex has a lot of parking around it, at times it can get busy during weekday matinees; we suggest you come early to make sure that you get a good parking space. The Fallon Theatre has a large State Park parking lot near the back of the theatre, parking is free.

I bought my tickets online – how do I know where I’ll sit?

Now you can see the seats you are selecting as you make the reservation! SRT sets aside some of our best seats for our online ticket buyers.
